We are seeking a

**Tech Director**

(Principal-level Engineer) with deep

**fullstack expertise, cloud architecture experience, and strong leadership capabilities**

to lead high-impact technology initiatives in the

**Healthcare industry**

.

In this role, you will act as a

**senior technical leader and trusted advisor**

, working closely with engineering teams and client stakeholders to design, build, and scale complex, cloud-native platforms. You will combine

**technical excellence, architectural vision, and client engagement**

, driving innovation and ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

- Lead the

**architecture, design, and implementation**

of scalable, highly available distributed systems.

- Define and enforce

**technical standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices**

.

- Design and implement

**cloud-native fullstack solutions**

(frontend + backend).

- Drive

**technical strategy and platform roadmap decisions**

aligned with business objectives.

- Ensure systems meet

**performance, scalability, and resilience**

requirements.

Agile & Team Leadership

- Provide leadership across multiple engineering teams (pods), including

**mentoring, code reviews, and design reviews**

.

- Champion

**Agile methodologies**

and ensure effective delivery practices.

- Enable teams through

**technical guidance and continuous improvement**

.

- Lead

**technical discussions, solution workshops, and executive briefings**

.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

- Act as the

**primary technical point of contact**

for client stakeholders.

- Translate business and regulatory requirements (e.g.,

**HIPAA, SOC 2**

) into scalable technical solutions.

- Build and maintain

**strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders**

.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to

**non-technical audiences and executives**

.

Engineering Excellence & Delivery

- Contribute to hands-on development of

**high-quality, scalable code**

.

- Architect and implement solutions leveraging

**AI-powered tools and features**

.

- Drive adoption of

**modern cloud, DevOps, and observability practices**

.

- Create and maintain

**technical documentation and architecture artifacts**

.

Must-have Skills

- **Bachelor’s Degree**

in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- **8–12+ years of experience**

in software engineering, including

**3–5+ years at Staff/Principal/Leadership level**

.

- **Advanced English level**

(written and spoken), with strong executive communication skills.

- **Mandatory experience in the Healthcare industry**

, including familiarity with regulatory environments.

- Strong backend expertise in one or more of the following:

- **Java, Python, Node.js, Go, Kotlin, or C#**

- Experience designing

**RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs**

.

- Proven experience with

**microservices and event-driven architectures**

.

- Strong frontend experience with:

- **React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript**

- Deep experience with

**cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)**

.

- Experience with:

- **CI/CD pipelines**

- **Infrastructure as Code**

- **Docker & Kubernetes**

- Strong knowledge of

**observability practices**

(logging, metrics, tracing).

- Experience designing and operating

**enterprise-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms**

.

- Proven ability to lead

**cross-functional teams and large-scale initiatives**

.

- Strong experience working in

**client-facing or consulting environments**

.

Nice-to-have

- **AI Tooling Proficiency:**

Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.

- Experience with healthcare platforms such as:

- Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Veeva, Medidata, etc.

- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as:

- **HL7, FHIR (R4/R5), EDI 837/835, SMART on FHIR**

- Experience in

**fintech or other regulated industries**

- Experience integrating or building

**AI-powered solutions and workflows**

.
